Russian icon of the first half of the 1800s, it depicts the Madonna of Kazan, as the city of the same name. Protector of the Romanovs, and is still one of the most beloved relics of Russia. She is portrayed half-length with the child in an upright position intent on blessing with his right hand. Measure in height 17 cm for  width 13 cm. Preserved in its original vintage display case-container, it measures 35cm height by 21cm width.
