Russian silver pyx, in modern times called ciborium, often has the shape of a miniature church. Punched 84 zolotnik, Moscow, 1875. Engraved on the door that opens Christ on the cross. Inside it reveals a tiny silver box which in turn opens, marked PH, used in the past for holy oils. The pyx measures 11 cm in height, 6 cm wide.
