Rare Russian handbag, before the revolution, in very good original condition. The weight is about 50 gr. Measures:  width 8cm and height 6cm. Fully branded 84 Russian imperial silver zolotnik and initials of the silversmith manufacturer. Beautiful design made with the hand made niello technique. The niellation technique consists in engraving a silver plate with a burin and filling the grooves with a compound of silver, copper, lead and sulfur  called niello, a similar pointed goose straw is usually used for writing, to bring down the niello without smudging.
